The Voice of Nepal Season2, Contestants who came out of Nepal to give audition

Dutch Franchise reality show The voice of Nepal season 2 concludes the blind audition and selects 64 contestants. Coaches got 16 contestants each for their team. Coach Pramod Kharel and Raju Lama were able to attract the strong contestants. Coach Deep and Astha also got some brilliant talent. Voice of Nepal is getting noticed more than the previous season because of some great performance and some controversy. This year many contestant came from out of the country to give the blind audition. Some Nepali contestants came from abroad to give blind audition wheras some foreign citizens from Darjeeling,Sikkim & Assam also came to give the blind audition. Battle round will start from 27th September Friday.  Here are some contestants who came from abroad to give the blind audition.


1. Geeta Sharma : Geeta Sharma from Sikkim sanged Tara Devi's song 'Pohor Sal Khusi Fatda' so well that Astha couldn't control her tears. She was able to win the heart of all the coaches and was appreciated by all the coaches. Also she selected her coach in a style which gave Raju Lama a goosebumps. She selected Raju Lama by singing his song "Timilai Dekhera" in a very sweet voice.

2 . Samjhana Pandey: Samjhana came from USA  to give the blind audition of Voice of Nepal . She was selected in Digital round so she had to come all the way from USA. She sang 'Timro Maya le Malai' of Kunti Moktan and got selected for battle round.Only Astha Raut turned the chair for her.

3. Kumar Gurung : Cheerful Kumar Gurung is resident of Syangja. He came all the way from Japan after he was selected in Digital round. He sang 'Chaubandi Choli' of 1974 A.D and was able to turn the chair of coach Deep & coach  Raju. He selected Raju Lama as his coach.

Bimochana Lomjel

4. Bimochana Lomjel:  Bimochana might be the contestant to turn all the coaches in short time period. She was able to turn coach deep in first verse of the song. She sang her mothers hit song "Bhaisi Ladyo hai" very perfectly. Coaches were surprised and shocked when they knew Bimochana was daughter of folk singer Daisy. Bimochana choosed coach Pramod. She came from Darjeeling.

5. Navin Gazmer: Navin Came all the way from west sikkim but was unable to turn the chair of any coaches and went home disappointed. He sang well but was not able to win the heart of any coaches.He sang Shiva Pariyar's hit song 'Aashu ko Artha'.

6. Akanchya Thapa : Akanchya being a teenager sang Sadhana Sargam's "Aja Bahra Hate Patuki" song so melodiously and was able to turn all the coaches.  She came all the way from Darjeeling. She choosed coach Pramod.

Yankee Yolmo

7. Yankee Yolmo: Rockstar Yankee Yolmo sang The Edge band's " Mero Aashu" so confidentially and was able to turn all the coahces. Coach Astha Turned her chair first and she convinced Yankee to Yolmo to join her team. Therefore Yankee happily joined Astha's team.


8. Rajiv Sonar : Rajiv who came from Asam sang coach Pramod Kharel's "Khai Jaal Ma" song but was unable to turn Pramod Kharel but Coach Astha Turned and selected him for the Battle Round. He was also the relative of season 1 contestant Surekha Chettri.

9. Bashali Lama : Bashali Lama from Siliguri sang evergreen Nepali hit song "Lahana Le Jurayo Ki" and was able to turn all the coaches and went to Battle round. She choosed Raju Lama as her coach .

So these were the contestants who came from a long distance and made Voice of Nepal more entertaining, competitive and interesting. Which further proves that music have no boundaries.
