More than that amount of students leave country for the further study in abroad. According to the DoFE, Nepalis can get work permits for nearly 170 countries. However, countries like Malaysia and members of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) that include Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab of Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, among others, are favoured destinations for Nepalis. Meanwhile Australia,USA,UK,Finland,Cyprus etc are the top destination for students.

Due to large number of people leaving for abroad, top destination country's some city are getting large number of nepali resident's . Due to large number of nepali resident's in such city it looks like one of the province of Nepal :P. Lots of vidoes are coming in social media where australian trains are fully covered by Nepali peoples they are even singing Nepali song's which looks like typical nepali local bus. Lots of trolls are seen in internet about Nepal's province number 8. According to survey at least two Nepali people can be found in sydney per km. Japan is also another easy to go destination for Nepali student's large amount of Nepali student's can be found in Japan.

As there are 7 province in Nepal . Many people claim that australia is virtual province number 8 of Nepal due to large number of Nepali population. And many other claim qatar as a virtual province 8 .The latest Census in 2011 recorded 24,636 Nepa-born people in Australia, an increase of 439.6 per cent from the 2006 Census. The 2011 distribution by state and territory showed New South Wales had the largest number with 15 297 followed by Victoria (4310), Queensland (2138) and South Australia (1038).
The number of Nepalese living in Japan stood at 74,300 as of June, spiking from 24,071 at the end of 2012, according to annual statistics compiled by the Justice Ministry.
As of an unofficial 2017 report, there were  350,000 Nepali's residing in Qatar . Therefore qatar has got the highest vote so we can guess that qatar could be probable virtual province number 8.

  1. But Nepalese in Qatar are expected to return soon. Japan is viewed as long term migration but Australia migration is kind of permanent and there is a considerable Nepalese diaspora compared to the % of total population of Australia... I would say Australia
