ICC has announced the team to enter the ICC Men's T Twenty20 World Cup in the upcoming 2020.10 teams have entered into the competition. The remaining 6 will play qualifiers & will have to qualify for the super 12. Teams which are in top 10 rank of ICC have qualified for world cup whearas top 8 teams have directly qualified for super 12.
Nepal's prospect
Nepal's journey looks tough in Twenty20 Cup scheduled to be held in Australia in 2020.Nepal is the champion in the sub-regional selection and will play regional selection competition with the top three three teams from the Eastern and West region.From the regional selection competition, the winner and vice-versa team will get tickets for the global selection competition. There are 14 teams from different regions in the global selection of the World Cup.The team to make the top six of these 14 countries will play the T Twenty20 World Cup in Australia. Nepal will get tickets for the T20 World Cup for second time. Nepal played the T20 World Cup in Bangladesh for the first time in 2014.
